This would be a tragic tongue accident, indeed.
Apparently fresh from flipping through the latest celebrity-gossip magazines, Miley Cyrus took to Twitter to blast a couple of items she found fault with, including a Star report claiming that Tinker Bell in a live TV broadcast of Peter Pan (think Sound of Music Live, but in Neverland) was her "dream role."
"I would rather choke on my own tongue," Miley tweeted along with a screen grab of the story, headlines, "Just Call Her Twerker Bell."
Well then!
The 21-year-old pop star also begged to differ with a photo of her and Justin Bieber that was included in a Life & Style story claiming that Selena Gomez and pals were plotting a Miley takedown. The pic is captioned, "The Ultimate Betrayal: Selena's convinced that Justin and Miley were seeing each other behind her back last year...'"
Etc.
"Btw this is photoshopped," Miley tweeted. "Bieber wasnt at Pharrels bday party [where the Miley half of the pic apparently originated]. I never read this s--t and that's why."
Lesson hammered home, once again.
In her information-packed Rolling Stone interview published last September, Miley talked about mentoring Bieber a little bit "because I've been doing this s--t for a long time, and I already transitioned [from teen to adult star], and I don't think he's quite done it yet."
She also offered him some unsolicited advice last month in the wake of his recent round of legal troubles: "Pay people to make sure you don't get in trouble, and party at your house. Buy a house and add a club to it."
