Outkast, Soundgarden to play Sasquatch! Music Festival
Lineups for the annual Sasquatch! Music Festival have been announced — yes, that's lineups, plural, as the festival is adding its first-ever Fourth of July weekend dates.
The Memorial Day weekend shows, May 23-25, will be headlined by the hip-hop duo Outkast, currently doing the festival rounds in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of its album debut. Other acts set to appear at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, Wash., include The National, Queens of the Stone Age, M.I.A., Foster the People, Kid Cudi, Haim, Neko Case and the Violent Femmes.
For the next set of concerts, held July 4-6, Soundgarden will be the headliner. The rock band will be accompanied by a similarly eclectic set of vets and younger artists representing various genres, among them Frank Ocean, Kraftwerk (3D), New Order, Broken Bells, Tegan & Sara and Neutral Milk Hotel.
Festival passes will go on sale at sasquatchfestival.com.
