The comedian selfie battle of 2014 is officially on.

Just weeks after Ellen DeGerenes tweeted the most-famous selfie ever as she was hosting the Academy Awards, Jimmy Kimmel decided to take a stab at his own.

The late-night host on Saturday night tweeted a selfie photograph of himself with former President Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton in a light-hearted nudge at DeGeneres.

“@TheEllenShow- No Brad Cooper but 3 Clintons & a Kimmel @Bill Clinton @HillaryClinton @ChelseaClinton #selfie,” Kimmel tweeted, referencing DeGeneres’ famous “selfie” that featured Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Kevin Spacey and Bradley Cooper.

Kimmel, the host of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” took the picture after wrapping up an interview with the former first family during a forum at the Clinton Global Initiative University in Tempe, Ariz.

The interview, in front of more than 1,000 students, covered light topics such as how the Clintons met at Yale Law School and the family’s favorite television shows with a few policy question peppered in.

The question on everybody’s mind, however, was whether the former secretary of state had decided yet on whether she’d run for President in 2016.

Ellen DeGeneres' (center front) Oscars selfie — which featured (l.-r.) Jared Leto, Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Kevin Spacey, Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt, Lupita Nyong'o, Peter Nyong'o Jr. and Angelina Jolie — has been retweeted 3.4 million times.

Clinton said she hadn’t yet decided.

“I am very much concerned about the direction of our country,” she said. “And it’s not just who runs for office but what they do when they get there and how we bring people together and particularly empower young people so we can tackle these hard decisions.”
