Emma Watson Covers Elle Magazine, Explains Why She's "So Jealous" Of Certain Actresses

Dishes on why she feared her first kiss on-screen

While many women are probably envious of Emma Watson's nearly 15-year career in Hollywood and seemingly effortless transition post-Harry Potter, the star says she's often wishes her life was more like certain breakout actresses.

"There are all these actresses who have emerged in the last year or two, and they get to emerge as this complete human being. And I'm so jealous!" The 23-year-old (clad in a denim Balman jumpsuit on the cover) shares in the April 2014 issue of Elle magazine.

Indeed, growing up in the public eye brought has its fair share of issues. A big one for Emma was learning how to creating a balanced personal life away from her character Hermione Granger.

"I remember reading this thing that Elizabeth Taylor wrote. She had her first kiss in character. On a movie set. It really struck me. I don't know how or why, but I had this sense that if I wasn't really careful, that could be me," she shares. "That my first kiss could be in somebody else's clothes. And my experiences could all belong to someone else."

And have personal experiences she did. The star chose to go to college, attending both Brown University and Oxford University.

As for her love life, the Noah star has been linked to few gentlemen off-screen, most recently Oxford rugby player Matt Janney. The two were spotted getting cozy on a Caribbean vacation together during January. And have since been hanging out in London.
