Will Kate Upton be hanging with Vinnie Chase and the boys?

The 21-year-old blond bombshell is rumored to be in the running to play the female lead in the upcoming Entourage movie.

Sources tell The Wrap that Upton has yet to receive an offer, but she is in early talks to join the cast for the film version that will reunite stars Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven.

No word on the part Upton would play exactly, though it's speculated that it could be Vinnie's love interest.

Reps for Upton and Warner Bros. were unavailable for immediate comment.

Upton made her acting debut in 2011's Tower Heist and the Sports Illustrated cover girl's other feature credits include a bit part in the Farrelly brothers' comedy The Three Stooges and Nick Cassavetes' forthcoming The Other Woman with Cameron Diaz.

Plans to give HBO's hit comedy series its big screen closeup have been in the works since January when the studio gave the production the greenlight. But contract negotiations reportedly hit a snag in September after some stars allegedly held out for more money.

Two weeks ago however, Entourage's creator and director, Doug Ellin, finally declared the flick was happening when he tweeted a photo of the cast with the caption "It's a go. Love you all."

If all goes well, shooting on Entourage is expected to get rolling next year.
