The former Jersey Shore star, who has made no secret of her aversion to the New Jersey governor, is slamming Christie (again) for his stance on gay marriage, saying she's "going to come after" him if he fails to show his support for same-sex unions.
"If you have a problem with two people being in love, and you're against gay marriage, I have a problem with you," the 27-year-old reality star, who is currently promoting the third season of her Jersey Shore spinoff Snooki & JWoww, told Confidenti@l in a recent interview. "What happens between two human beings has nothing to do with Chris Christie and does not affect Chris Christie. What does affect me is when my best friend can't get married in New Jersey, and my best friend's mother, who is a lesbian, can't get married."
This is hardly the first time JWoww has taken aim at the New Jersey governor. She previously called Christie "retarded," but later said apologized for her comment, admitting she was "caught off guard."
"I find it disgusting people are still against gay marriage..." she wrote on her Twitter page. "So because of that I called chris Christie a name which wasn't appropriate. I do find him disgusting and judgmental. I'm for gay equality. So I apologize for my choice of words but I do not apologize for how I feel towards him."
The animosity against Christie also stems from her and BFF Snooki's run-in with the governor in May on the boardwalk, where he purportedly told the pals that they were "bad for Jersey."
But JWoww says she'll put that beef in the past if Christie would simply show his support for same-sex unions.
"The problems that he had with me, Nicole, Vinny [Guadagnino], Pauly [Delvecchio], I've put that aside," she said. "He's a politician, he's able to grant these wishes for people in love. Your personal opinion should have no effect on other people's love lives, especially if you're in a position of power."
Referring to Christie's 2012 veto of a marriage equality bill, JWoww said, "It agitates me that the law got passed and he's doing whatever it takes to not get it passed in New Jersey."
But the MTV star, who currently resides in New Jersey with fiancé Roger Mathews, is hopeful that Christie will one day change his opinion.
"I hope at the end of the day," that Christie "sets his personal opinions aside," she explained. "There's nothing about [gay people] that makes his day bad, makes his day different. They don't affect him living his daily life."
